Doughlicious Has an $11.99 Cookie Dough Advent Calendar at Target, and $4.99 Peppermint Bites at Whole Foods
A $11.99 12-day cookie dough advent calendar lands at Target Dec. 1. Peppermint White Chocolate bites also get their own $4.99 pack at Whole Foods this month.

Some advent calendars hide chocolate. Some hide skincare.
This one hides frozen cookie dough. So it lives in the freezer, not on the mantel.
What’s in the calendar
According to a November 3 release from the Cincinnati-based brand, the calendar mixes three Doughlicious favorites with nine flavors you can only get in the box. Here’s the full lineup the release lists.
- Gingerbread, Eggnog, Cereal Milk and Snickerdoodle
- Caramel Kettle Corn, Vegan Chocolate Truffle and Pumpkin Pie Crumble
- Cookies & Cream, Peppermint White Chocolate, Chocolate Chip and Bûche de Noël
- A Rotten Cherry Bomb collab flavor behind door number 7
| Product | Where | Price | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12-Day Advent Calendar | Target only | $11.99 | Dec. 1 |
| Peppermint White Chocolate Cookie Dough & Gelato Bites | Whole Foods Market and other retailers | $4.99 promotional price at Whole Foods | Early November |
The release says both are made with gluten-free oats and without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Doughlicious goes further on its own website, where it calls its snacks “gluten-free certified” and its FAQ says 100% of its products are gluten free. Those are the brand’s claims.
Founder Kathryn Bricken started Doughlicious in London in 2017. The company now makes its bites in Cincinnati.
100 calories a piece.The WellWham perspective
Our read: the gluten-free treat aisle keeps growing up
This is our analysis. Gluten-free used to mean a sad, crumbly cookie in its own corner. Now it shows up in seasonal novelty products at big retailers. A Target-only calendar at $11.99 is an easy add-on for shoppers who just want a treat everyone at the table can share. We saw a similar move when gluten-free mini donuts landed at 500+ Sprouts.
Reality check
It’s a frozen dessert. It’s a treat, and 100 calories a piece is about portion size, not nutrition. It also has to stay frozen, so it needs a spot in your freezer, not a nail on the wall. If you need strict gluten-free food, check the package label yourself when you buy it.
The close
Twelve doors. Twelve bites.
Just keep the calendar in the freezer.
