Fuel Meals Launched GLP-1 Meal Plans With 40g+ Protein in Every Meal, Plus an “Off-Ramp” Plan for Coming Off
Fuel Meals’ new GLP-1 Support plan has 20 meals, each with 40g+ protein, the company says. A 31-meal Off-Ramp plan targets people stepping off the drugs.

People on GLP-1s often say the same thing. They’re just not that hungry anymore.
So what goes on the plate starts to matter more. A meal delivery company is betting on that.
The two plans
According to a November 3 release posted by Fuel Meals on NOSH, here’s how the plans break down.
| Plan | Meals | Calories per meal | Protein per meal |
|---|---|---|---|
| GLP-1 Support, Core | 20 meals across two tiers | 310 to 480 | 40g or more |
| GLP-1 Support, Expanded | (within the 20) | Up to 520 | 40g or more |
| GLP-1 Off-Ramp | 31 meals | 420 to 630 | 40g to 61g |
The company says it caps fat at 24 grams per Support meal. It links that choice to the way GLP-1 drugs slow how fast the stomach empties. The release cites an estimated 32 million U.S. adults who have used a GLP-1.
“When you’re eating less, every meal needs to work harder for you,” founder and CEO Chris Thompson said in the release.
On the plans page, sample meals include a Pot Roast listed at 40g of protein and 390 calories, and a Chicken Fajita Bowl at 47g and 400 calories. The page shows a 40% off first order promo but no plan price. The release itself tells people to talk with their provider or a dietitian.

Our read: the GLP-1 menu is moving into your fridge
This is our analysis. Food brands have been chasing GLP-1 users for a while. An EY survey found their carts are changing. What’s new here is the Off-Ramp plan. Most products target people on the drugs. This one is for what comes after, a gap a startup was raising money to fill last month.
Reality check
A meal plan is food, not medical care. Nothing here replaces advice from the doctor who prescribed your medication, and the company says as much. The “GLP-1” label is marketing from Fuel Meals, not a medical standard. Without a listed price, you won’t know what it costs until you start an order.
The close
Smaller appetite. Bigger protein number.
The price tag is the number still missing.
